I found these extra huge paper clips at Staples this week. I've seen some samples on Splitcoaststampers before but didn't know where to find the paperclips. I thought they would make cute bookmarks. I am going to give the DREAM one to Emma for Valentine's Day with a Chapters gift card. She made one for her teacher to give to her on Monday (it's also shown below). The first step was cutting out a front and a back out of chipboard. I wanted something a bit more secure than just paper. I cut out the two circles and then using Regal Rose paper I cut out the same sized circle and put it in my Cuttlebug Embossing Folder. I cut out the heart, faux stitched it, stamped "DREAM" from Think Big stamp set and then oval punched. To attach the front and back and secure the paper clip I used some pop ups to equalize the space between the chipboards all the way around. I then used Crystal Effects and put it on both sides of the paper clip, put the pieces together and let it sit for about 2 hours.
These circles are about 2 inches in diameter and could be cut with your Coluzzle. The chipboard shapes from the On Board Accents also work really well for these paper clips!
